In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 16, Kamino Lost, Crosshair made a decision that would carry on until the next season. He walked away from the Empire and he claims he already removed the inhibitor chip implanted in him. He still questions Hunter why he took some time to save him and despite that, they're friends and family from the start.

Omega shows care about Crosshair, considering him as one of her brothers. He saved her, not something Hunter would expect, and because of that, Hunter let him go. Despite their differences, both of them chose what they thought would be best for everyone. Choice, after all, is available for all.

As for Nala Se, she could be considered as the mother of all clones as she is the Chief Medical Scientist of Kamino. Omega was one of her wards, she was able to focus on her growing up and that surely gave her a soft spot for the kid. She allowed the Bad Batch to escape in the first place, and still, the Empire kept her on their side. Well, she's one of the best when it comes to cloning, right?

All in all, The Bad Batch puts a close to the Star Wars' Clone Era. The title of the episode itself fits it all. Kamino has been destroyed by the Empire as it only existed so long as it has a use for them. The destruction was not because it would not be used by them, it's greed, not wanting anyone else to use it, only them, showing the true colors of the Empire.

For Season 2, it is possible that the fate of Nala Se would be shown. Omega loses her importance given that the Kamino City has been destroyed and that would mean she wouldn't be hunted anymore. Crosshair could also have his own redemption arc as well. However, it's too early to tell what will happen next.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is scheduled in 2022.
