2021 continues to be a fruitful year for Star Wars icon Ewan McGregor. Not only is his professional career doing great these days with him currently working on his upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, but Ewan also reached a new milestone in his personal life as he and his partner Mary Elizabeth Winstead welcomed their first child together.
This news came as a surprise to a lot of fans but the Birds of Prey co-stars have actually been in a romantic relationship since 2017 after starring in the television series Fargo.
McGregor was previously in a long-term marriage with designer Eve Mavrakis to whom he has four children — Clara Mathilde, Esther, Jamyan, and Anouk. The birth of Ewan's newest child may have come as a huge stunner to a lot of people but according to Twitter, it makes him a 5-time "DILF" and if you don't know what that acronym stands for, I commend you.

Disney+'s Obi-Wan series is still in the middle of its production so it's safe to assume that McGregor may have asked for some time off to be with his wife as she was about to give birth. Speaking of, we still don't know much about the upcoming project but its creation alone is enough reason for many of us to rejoice. We all know that the prequel films had their fair share of critics but with the renewed momentum the Star Wars franchise is currently experiencing, it almost feels like they can do no wrong this time around.
Obi-Wan is scheduled to hit Disney+ in 2022.
