Is James Gunn Hinting on Who Idris Elba will be Playing in Suicide Squad 2?

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was usually an active voice in social media, but after the PR fiasco from last year, he somewhat had to go on hiatus. Now with him back on board for Marvel and now directing the Suicide Squad sequel, Gunn gives us a teaser of what to expect from his DCEU film, plus a possible hint at who Idris Elba could be playing.

This is a screenshot from Gunn's Facebook stories:

Probably the biggest takeaway here is that Gunn will be drawing from the John Ostrander run of Suicide Squad, and as you can see, the cover includes a lot of characters from the first film like Captain Boomerang, Rick Flagg, Deadshot, and Enchantress. The cover also includes Bronze Tiger, which some people are convinced is the new character that Elba will play in the film.

In the comics, Ben Turner was considered to be one of the ‘good' characters among the villains and was second in command for Rick Flagg. Tiger has no special powers, but he's a martial arts master who had already bested the likes of Batman.

I guess it would make sense to have Tiger in the film, counting that he's basically the Black Panther of the DCEU. What's also cool is, having Elba play someone else opens the door for Will Smith to come back in a future film as Deadshot.

Then again, nothing official has been confirmed about Bronze Tiger, and this is just pure speculation at this point.
