DC Universe's Titans Casts Deaf, Transgender Actor as Deathstroke's Son Jericho

DC fans were already over the moon when it was announced that Deathstroke would be appearing in Titans. Now, fans are going to be really happy to know that his son, Jericho is going to be in the game and will be played by an actor who is transgender male and deaf. It's an interesting move to make and is a nice bit of diversity casting.

Revealed by DC, the actor is Chella Man, who is pretty new to the acting world. Man doesn't even have an IMDB page, though he does have a YouTube channel with 173,000 subscribers and 2.5 million views on his page. This is an interesting way to make your name known and we will probably see more of Man after this.

Expect that IMDB page to be inaccurate though. Just like almost-everything in IMDB.

Judging by the way DC describes Jericho below, it looks like we will be seeing a more heroic version of the character. He has switched sides numerous times before, often being a hero or anti-hero. His most recent role in the Deathstroke series made him more heroic and he is bisexual, making him the first LGBTQ member of the DC Universe group.

"Son of the infamous DC villain Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), Joseph Wilson is the Titan known as Jericho. Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. This gentle natured yet proud hero has proven himself a formidable Titan."

Titans season 2 doesn't have a release date. All of season one can be streamed on DC Universe and Netflix on other countries.
