MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video recently announced a new live-action adaptation of Spider-Man Noir. In addition to Nicolas Cage's portrayal of the alternate version of Spider-Man, several other characters could appear in the Noir series.

Set in 1930s New York City, fans are about to see a different Spider-Man in Noir. Compared to the usual bright red-and-blue Spider suit, Spider-Noir wears an all-black ensemble to tell a darker tale of the famous Wall Crawler.

But instead of using webs and sticking to the walls, he will be a gun-toting vigilante who prefers to parkour. In the place of supervillains, he will be fighting against corrupt politicians, crooked cops, and gangsters in his hometown of New York City.

So, here are the five characters we could see in Prime Video’s upcoming Spider-Man Noir.

J. Jonah Jameson

No Spider-Man story would be complete without J. Jonah Jameson. Peter Parker’s former boss is still annoyed with Spider-Man.

Jameson was once the chief editor and publisher of the New York newspaper, Daily Bugle, and the city's mayor but was forced to resign following a huge scandal between Superior Spider-Man and the Goblin Nation.

But that doesn’t mean he will hide under the sheets after what happened. He becomes the host of the F.A.C.T. News Channel.

Norman Osborn

Norman Osborn may be the main villain Spider-Noir faces in Noir. In this story, he’s known as New York’s top racketeer, nicknamed Goblin.

He’s a freelance agent who works for the highest bidder and operates Osborn Enterprises.

Goblin deals with the corrupt government of New York, police members, and leading businessmen. To control the city, they need Goblin by their side.

Kraven the Hunter

One of Spider-Man's most unrelenting villains, Kraven the Hunter, could also appear in Spider-Man Noir.

A famous big game hunter, he became a mercenary and later obsessed with restoring honour to his name.

He’s part of The Goblin’s Muscle’s The Enforcers, alongside Cameleon, Vulture, Ox, Fancy Dan, and Montana.

In addition to being a significant threat to Spider-Man, he left a legacy when he died.

Black Cat

Her real name is Felicia Hardy. She’s an ally of Spider-Man in Noir. A former cat burglar who started fighting crime when she became romantically attracted to Spider-Man.

Hardy owns The Black Cat, a speakeasy where corrupt politicians and police officers hang out.

She uses this place to help Peter uncover the truth about Goblin's crooked operations, and they form a romantic relationship.

Uncle Ben

Of course, Uncle Ben is expected to be part of Noir. His murder will be why Spider-Noir seeks justice and wants to prove that the Goblin and his people are behind his tragic demise.

Ben taught Peter that “with great power comes with great responsibility.” But Peter is convinced that if the people in power can’t be trusted, it will be the public’s responsibility to remove them.
