Was Moldaver in cryosleep inside a vault in the Fallout series? How has she survived over 200 years, otherwise? Fans have something to say.

CONTENT SPOILERS: This article contains spoilers for Prime Video's Fallout series, so proceed with caution.

Did Moldaver Die in the Fallout Series on Prime?

Moldaver may not have been the hero or villain we always thought her to be, but what fans find interesting about her character is how she has been alive for over 200 years.

Considering that she was only taken out when she didn't survive from a gut wound, how did Moldaver survive in the Fallout series?

Well, even though the series hasn't fully explained this to its fans yet, the Moldaver actor Sarita Choudhury seemingly teases that this would be answered in Fallout season 2.

"I was told enough to play each scene," Choudhury previously said, "[The writers] wanted to give us everything, but at the same time, they couldn't. So I know more than you do, but I don't know as much as them."

Of course, given the nature of how season 2 of TV shows are made, fans couldn't help but come up with theories on their own.

Fans Surmise Moldaver Survived Fallout the Same Way Overseers Did

One of the biggest 'plot holes' fans came up with about Moldaver's survival is if she had secretly been a part of the cryosleep program inside one of the vaults.

Considering that Moldaver potentially went back into the vaults despite being against Vault-Tec's mission, there's a chance that she intentionally took advantage of their technology just so she could grab ahold of her tech, eventually.

As fans surmised, Moldaver could have survived either through cryogenics/cryosleep or by surprisingly becoming a ghoul without her noticing.

However, other fans couldn't help but point out that Moldaver could be one of the earliest characters who became a Super Mutant or had taken in a similar drug that granted her immortality and increased her survivability.

Ultimately, the idea of Moldaver in cryosleep seems to be the likeliest case scenario on how she managed to live over time, in the same way that Hank and the past overseers have in history.

Fallout season 2 may already be underway, but this won't stop fans from reading deeper into the game and series' lore.

Keep in mind that these are all but theories until the series itself confirms how Moldaver survived in Fallout.
