As X-Men ‘97 kicks off its three-part finale, Tolerance Is Extinction, with a massive storyline and huge surprises, Marvel partners with Airbnb to further add to the excitement by giving fans a chance to experience mutant life for real.
The studio shared Jubilee’s number on social media, promoting her new sideline as a homestay host, allowing guests to crash at the X-Mansion.
It appears that the fireworks-loving mutant has been allowed by her fellow X-Men to add their headquarters on Airbnb since the listing promises a complete immersion at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, including:
- Attend the new student orientation to be run by Jubilee herself
- Create mutant elixir experiments in Beast’s lab
- Train like an X-Man in the Danger Room
- Join classified mission briefings in the War Room and try on Cerebro and
- Have Gambit’s beignets for breakfast!
Airbnb will recreate the X-Mansion in a secluded area in New Castle, Westchester County, New York. The property can accommodate eight guests in the bedrooms of Jubilee, Wolverine, and Beast, as well as a twin dorm room.
To get a chance to stay at the X-Mansion, fans can request to book at the Airbnb website until May 14, 7:59 AM (UK Time). Only selected participants can book and join the mutant sleepover this June 2024, which will cost £78 per guest.
Aside from the overnight homestay, a single-day training experience at the X-Mansion will also be open for booking requests by May 9.
Airbnb’s Icons service gives users a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy “extraordinary experiences hosted by the world’s greatest names in music, film, TV, art, sports, and more.” Its 2024 summer release includes partnerships with Disney, such as the floating house in Up and Team Riley HQ in Inside Out, as well as other famous properties like Prince’s Purple Rain house, Ferrari Museum, and Musée d’Orsay.
In the past, Airbnb offered overnight stays and experiences at the last Blockbuster store, Ted Lasso’s favourite pub, Barbie’s DreamHouse in Malibu, and even Shrek’s Swamp.
X-Men ‘97 is streaming on Disney+.
